The company's consolidated loan assets under management (AUM) surged by 28% year-over-year, reaching ₹98,048 crore compared to ₹76,799 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. This substantial increase reflects the robust demand for gold-backed loans and the company's strategic efforts to expand its customer base and enhance its market presence.
During the quarter, Muthoot Finance saw a 10% rise in consolidated loan AUM, amounting to an additional ₹8,969 crore. This growth underscores the company's effective operational strategies and its strong position in the gold loan sector. Furthermore, the company achieved a notable 14% year-over-year increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT), which climbed to ₹1,196 crore from ₹1,045 crore last year.
