About Ridents

Ridents is a curated discovery engine for businesses, services, products and places. It is not a web crawler and does not attempt to index the open internet.

Everything you can find here was submitted, reviewed and approved by a person. That makes the index far smaller than a general search engine, and considerably more reliable: a result is a business someone checked.

What we index

Business profiles, the services and products they offer, the places they serve, and articles they publish. Each listing carries its own description, category, location and keywords, which is what search matches against.

What we do not do

• We do not crawl or scrape websites without permission.
• We do not invent ratings. A listing with no reviews shows no rating.
• We do not blend paid placements into organic results.
